“Do Sul” (from South) evokes a universe of meanings that go beyond geographic coordinates. It is an invitation to explore the encounter between looking at personal experiences and the representation of the natural. The stones, the places, the roots are represented not only in their form and aesthetics, but also with metaphors and symbolism. Stones as symbols of permanence and stability, are silent guardians of the coast, places as icons of transience and adaptation, are the mutation and ephemerality of time. Together, they tell the dynamic, ongoing story of days that shape not only the landscape, but also a personal trajectory through time.
