Carlos Gonçalves monsters came from the need to deconstruct the "bad" image associated with these creatures. Carlos Manuel Gonçalves gave a friendly and unique style to his monsters, and his fun and “tongued” personality leaves no one indifferent. The author took the name of the play "Lusíadas" from Luis de Camões' astonishing "Monstrengo", but his monsters came only to spread joy and a good mood!
