Pernambuco artist André Menezes seeks to encourage recycling and conscious consumption, promoting the creative economy through the use of decorative objects found in the trash. He created the reclipaché technique, which, according to him, is the combination of three other techniques into one: recycling, papier-mâché, and papier-mâché. The artist uses recyclable materials, cardboard, newspaper, bottles, paper, wood, paint, and glue as raw materials for his works.
