Development and implementation of a Residential Interior Design project for a 110m2 apartment in Lisbon, Portugal. 2024
Next to the museum of the largest private art collection in Portugal, is a small apartment, also owned by a collector. It's a small urban refuge, carefully designed piece by piece, from the lighting to the finishing materials, from the art to the furniture.
We are in Lisbon, yet the apartment breathes the “je ne sais quoi” of Haussmann's Paris. The interior design project seeks to accentuate this connection in a contemporary and eclectic way, where Italian and Brazilian design dialogue with European 19th century and Portuguese 21st century works of art. Textiles, as in the past, cover the surfaces of the walls, floors and windows, subtly adding comfort and character to the white base of the walls.
Despite the areas described and the preponderant presence of the pieces, environments are created where there is lightness and scale, where different times, designs and identities are combined and valued, creating a timeless sophistication.
