Contas | Maria Pratas
Do Sul evokes a universe of meanings that go beyond geographical coordinates. It is an invitation to explore the encounter between looking at personal experiences and the representation of what is natural.
Stones, places, and roots are represented not only in their form and aesthetics but also with metaphors and symbolism. As symbols of permanence and stability, the stones are silent guardians of the coast, the places as icons of transience and adaptation, and the mutation and impermanence of time.
Together, they tell the dynamic and continuous story of the days that shape not only the landscape but also a personal trajectory through time.
