Albert Tannat was born in the Swiss Alps and spends the early days of his adult life as a sailor, travelling across the northern seas. During one of those travels in Tagier, Morroco, he decides to stay for many years. He confronts himself with with animal guts and the intense smells of the dirty and the dusty streets. There he finds the plasticity of the world, creating pictorial memories of his exotic surroundings.
