It is with this spirit that, in June 2013, Laboratório d'Estórias appears: an experimental design space that aims to be inspired by the stories of popular Portuguese culture to reinvent traditional objects, using them to tell new stories and, why not , to recreate the country's own history. The result of this experimentation is a conceptual approach of its own. Starting from the ancestral techniques of Caldas da Rainha ceramics and materials such as earthenware, we are both led to cross the idea of a petrified basil with the supposed love between Perseus and Medusa, and to discover the history of Corvo, a symbol of Lisbon, as a trickster who pecked at the ladies' legs at the tavern door.
